Women’s infectious diseases can be caused by yeast, bacteria and virus. The most common type of fungus infections is Candida over growth, even though it is not fatal but it is tremendously irritating. The bacteria infections can caused by bacteria imbalance of vaginal or STD or even bacteria from pneumonia. Virus infection in women is rather severe even fatal.

bacteria vaginosis  

 

Bacterial vaginosis is the most common vaginal infection. It is caused by bacteria such asGardnerella vaginalis,Mobiluncus species, and Mycoplasma species. Symptoms include an increased vaginal discharge with a fishy odor, redness, burning, or itching in the vaginal area.

pelvic inflammatory disease

 

Pelvic inflammatory disease is an infection caused by bacteria such as Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Chlamydia trachomatis. Usually the infection starts in the vagina, moves up through the cervix, gets into the uterus, up the fallopian tubes and into the ovaries. Because pelvic inflammatory disease is an illness affecting a variety of inner reproductive organs, there is a risk that it cause a permanent damage to these organs.

  • Raw herbs are boiled at home and the liquid is added to a small bath, deep enough to soak the hips in.

  • Hip baths are taken daily for 15- 20 minutes daily while taking internal herbal medicine.

A UTI is caused by bacteria entering the urinary tract, leading to an infection in the bladder, urethra, ureters (urine tubes) or kidneys. The most common culprit is a bacterium common to the digestive tract called Escherichia coli (E. coli). It is usually spread to the urethra from the anus.

Thrush

Thrush is a yeast infection of the vagina caused by the Candid albicans, whic is the second most common cause of vaginal infection. Thrush, or genital candidasis, as the most common yeast infection, is caused by an overgrowth of a fungus which is commonly present in the vagina. Symptoms of yeast infection include a white, cottage cheese-like vaginal discharge, intensive itching, burning and redness in the vaginal area.

  • Always wipe from front to back when using the washroom.

  • Wear loose fitting clothing, cotton or other natural fibre underwear is recommended.

  • Drink extra water and fluids, avoiding sugary juices which lower the immune system function.

  • Empty the bladder before and especially after sexual intercourse.

  • During sexual intercourse, if something has touched the anus, be sure the wash it before touching the vagina area.

  • Drink a tea made from fresh or dried dandelion plant as prevention or when a mild infection has begun.

  • Drink a tea made from corn silk (inside part of corn on the cob) as prevention or when a mild infection has begun.
